Frontier NanoSystems, LLC already has significant intellectual property (IP) protection established and pending.
It holds title and exclusive license to 11 issued U.S. patents, one (1) patent in Mainland China, with one patent pending
in Europe covering its proprietary lamination technology applied to all known crystallographic structures of oxide
ceramic, as well as ceramic interconnects with embedded components.
- Pending IP claimed in the United States, Europe, India, Japan and China include the following:
- Ceramic resistor, capacitor, and inductor components embedded in organic printed circuit boards, ceramic
interconnects, or semiconductor chips. This technology application is useful in miniaturizing all microelectronic
products and has a potential total market value exceeding $60 billion worldwide.
- Micro-antenna systems that are insensitive to handset design and user manipulation, which will enable large economies
of scale to be realized for mobile radio systems.
- Fully integrated power management modules-mobile devices (laptops and handhelds) will contain between 4 and 11 of
these circuits to regulate battery power to various systems in the portable device.
- Embedded radio modules-handsets are now expected to have 7 radio modules apiece, which represents 60% of the hardware
value in these devices.
Frontier NanoSystems, LLC has architected its IP portfolio to have both vertical and horizontal value with
partnership potential serving multiple levels of the wireless supply chain as well as the market for advanced ceramic
materials.
